News: Ascott Scores Top Honors

The Ascott Group (Ascott) has once again grabbed the top spot in China's "Top 100 Serviced Apartments Award 2006". For the third consecutive year, Ascott beat more than 1,000 industry players for the coveted award which recognizes outstanding accomplishments and exceptional service by serviced apartments in China.

"The serviced residence industry has been showing signs of growth in anticipation of the increased business expected from an influx of domestic, regional and international business travelers and tourists. Over the last two years, Ascott has entered Guangzhou and Suzhou, and is now looking at expanding into cities such as Xi'an and Chongqing. Ascott's current portfolio in China includes over 2,600 serviced residence units spread across Beijing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Tianjin.
